the Quilt

This triangle quilt is ideal for beginners! Thanks to a user-friendly and efficient construction process (see it in action!), each and every triangle point will remain sharp on your Teeter Totter quilt. It sews together fast and without the fuss-factor you’d expect from triangles.

Pattern includes 2 sizes: throw and baby

Ombre Teeter Totter QUILT

Color Palette: pink/ red ombre background with bright, scrappy triangles

Size: Throw, 56” x 61”

Throw Teeter Totter QUILT

Color Palette: consistent white background with solid and print triangles

Size: Throw, 56” x 61”

Baby Teeter Totter QUILT

Color Palette: two-color, rhythmic layout

Size: Baby, 41” x 41”

Got Triangle Scraps? This is the pattern you’ve been waiting for! All of your right-angle triangle scraps are suitable for this pattern, even the smaller ones. Best of all - you can use them without trimming in advance!! That’s what I call efficient.

the Supplies

Teeter Totter is a versatile quilt. Sew it with scraps, a favorite precut bundle or mix fabrics from your stash. It’s best with medium to small scale prints and looks great when you anchor the palette with a healthy helping of solids. Especially if you opt for an ombré background, including solid triangles create breathing room and definition.

For a quilt like my cover version: white precut rolls, a solid charm pack and 12+ different prints from your stash or scraps!
