Welcome, Sojo Fabric!

I’m so excited to welcome a new sponsor today, who has been offering fresh, modern fabrics on Etsy since 2008. Sojo Fabric has an absolutely fantastic selection. I can’t wait to give you the scoop! Stay tuned for a very Merry giveaway too.

I first heard of Sojo Fabric from a friend whose taste in fabrics I admire. I don’t know how I hadn’t already made the connection, since Sojo has so many of the fabrics I know and love. It’s run by Mary (with some help from her husband) out of Layton, Utah. Shipping is free in the United States for orders of $35! She’ll ship international too. For an accurate shipping quote, contact her with a list of what you’d like to order and she’ll make a special listing just for you!

Sojo Fabric has over 1000 fabrics, so there’s no way I can cover it all. But here are some bundles to give you an idea. Isn’t it fun that Far Far Away 2 by Heather Ross is being re-released in quilting cotton? That takes me back to the days when Aria still liked princesses. Maybe I’ll get to sew some for Elora soon?

Shopping by fabric bundles, I ran across familiar collections like Anna Maria Horner’s Tambourine, as well as new-to-me finds like these pretty alphabets by Carey Yoder. I love it when stores bundle up favorite prints from a collection in multiple colors. Those make great stash-builders!

Besides collection-based bundles, Mary also creates curated bundles from time to time. This Autumn Splendor bundle would have been spot-on for my autumn-themed quilt. It even has that dusty aqua-blue that reminds me of harvest skies.

Sojo Fabric stocks a lot of Ruby Star fabrics (162 at the moment!) and Cotton + Steel - mainly Rifle Paper (yum!). I have my eye on the Primavera collection from Rifle Paper Fabrics for a springtime quilt. The collection ships in February, so Sojo is taking preorders.

There are lots more big names at Sojo Fabric, like Tula Pink, Allison Glass, Tilda and Liberty of London. But I was impressed by the fun quilt kits available to showcase some of these fabrics. Take a look:

Are you a Tula Fan? You probably would love to sew with her new Monkey Wrench collection via this cheery Sunrise Quilt Kit!

One last thing - TULLE!

Took me totally by surprise! Wouldn’t these make the most adorable dress-up skirt for the little darlings in your life? Awww.

I’m going to have to stop there, because this post is getting so long! Let’s move on to the

::Giveaway::

Sojo Fabric is giving away a fat quarter bundle of Garland and Noel from Cotton+Steel!!! I’m already jealous! This is one of the older C+S collections and my very favorite of theirs for holiday. It would make a smashing Dear Dottie quilt! Or, really, whatever you want to sew, of course.

Here’s how to Enter:

  1. Follow @SojoFabric on Instagram

  2. Go to this Instagram post and add your comment

Winner will be drawn randomly from all qualified commenters after noon (Amsterdam time) on Monday, November 25th. An international winner will receive a $35 gift certificate in lieu of the fabric bundle.

Good luck!
