Soft Botanical: a mosaic contest

Slow down a minute, my friend, and ponder with me in color...

Spring sprouts green, softly, in mint, chartreuse and celery.  Outside my window all the colors are fresh, growing things.  The leaves, the stems, the flowers weave a botanical canopy to shield our eyes from the bright warm sun, as we spread out on the cool green grass.

Botanics are blue.  Lavender blue.  And golden sunshine yellow.  Just touches of white, for mostly it's green that serves as a background to the flower parade.

In my dreamtime garden the flowers speak softly.  They whisper of sweet peaches and tender moist shade.  Rosy heads chatter along the hedgerow, making a mockery of our once tidy beds.   Until moody blue hushes them all.

But green won't be contained by pottery, edges or rows.  Instead it meanders along, sprouting here, sprouting there until the landscape is dotted with whimsy.  Lush botanical - the joy of irrepressible growth.
