40th Birthday Giveaway!

So here it is, the big Four Zero. I’m turning 40 this weekend, and that’s fine. I think I may have done the mid-life stuff a few years earlier, with moving to the Netherlands and all. The last decade of my life has certainly seen lots of change. I can easily say that I am proud of who I am today and of the shape my life has taken. Thank you, dear reader, for being a crucial part of that life. I look toward the future with curiosity, optimism and the expectation that I will continue to change and grow.

Shall we have a birthday party? I think that cake makes a party, but that’s rather difficult to do long distance. Well, at least some party favors then.
