Kingfisher Stitch-Along: Finale

This post is part of the Kingfisher Stitch-Along series.  This free, portable project combines English paper piecing, applique and traditional piecing.  Get all the details here.

Happy Monday, friends!  Here we are at the very last week of our Kingfisher Stitch-Along.  Time does fly when we're having fun!

Thank you for all your kind words about my version of the Kingfisher quilt.  I look forward to seeing your finishes as well, via Instagram, in the weeks to come.

Although there's no rush to finish your creation, this is the last week to win a Kingfisher participation prize.  Don't forget to post any in progress photos on Instagram with #KingfisherStitchAlong.  Up for grabs is a fabulous EPP quilt kit valued up to $100 AUD from my Jodi's shop, Tales of Cloth.

Congratulations to Another.Amanda, who won backing fabric from Cottoneer in last week's random prize drawing!

We know that not everyone who started making hexagon flowers may end up wanting to make an entire Kingfisher quilt.  If something smaller is in order, you'll definitely want to visit my friend Melanie at Southern Charm Quilts today.  She's shared three alternative ideas for using hexie flowers.  I actually have a few blossoms that didn't make the cut for my quilt.  Perfect timing!

Thanks again to all of our contributors who helped make the Kingfisher Stitch-Along a success:

Happy stitching all!
