talk to me about
Sewing for baby.
Beside my computer, under my real "do" list, I have a list of things to sew for baby. I haven't even been looking at it, because I've been focusing on making Angled class and then these last 2 quilts for my sister's children. Now that I can see the light at the end of the tunnel, I'm starting to peak at my list.
And it's long.
I'm 18 weeks pregnant today, almost halfway there. Between sewing for baby, sewing for the nursery and making new quilts for Aria and Liam's new room (not to mention possible holiday sewing), the five months I have left until this baby is due aren't looking all that long.
So, this is my question:
What would you sew for baby?
I'm thinking some prioritizing is in order. Probably some of the things on my list are not all that useful or important, and definitely some are. Probably I'm missing some things that would be fun or super practical. Probably you all can help me make my list longer, because obviously that's where this is headed...
I've already made burp cloths and a few toys and some sweet dresses for 6-12 months. What should be next on my list?
I'm going to take your suggestions on what's worth sewing and what's not and take my list and sketch out a possible sewing plan for the next 5 months. Then, as the months tick by, we can all laugh at how far off things end up! Grin.
