{Giveaway} Sis Boom Dresses & Honey Child!

Today we're going to mix it up with a non-quilt giveaway. Oh, yes!  I'm thinking clothing... And what better at this time of year than a pretty new dress? Yep, I've had them on my mind lately!

The winner of today's giveaway will receive 2 lovely Sis Boom patterns, gifted by designer Jennifer Paganelli.  I picked out the Marissa dress, a dress I'd love to make this Easter for my daughter, and the Meghan dress, which looks comfortable enough to wear everyday.

Here's more about the Marissa dress, from Sis Boom:

Nothing says pretty sweet like our very own Marissa Pattern.  Once again, we give you a pattern that's easy to sew, but gives such a glamorous, couture look.  We love this beauty and so will the girls in your world!!  The pinched strap gives a unique touch and that sweetiepie cummerbund really dresses up the look.  Comfort and style... that's what you get from these patterns.  Add a crinoline and bring on your twirls!

and more on the Meghan dress from Sis Boom:

The Meghan peasant imparts a stunning silhouette to women of all shapes and sizes.  It is relaxed and so easy to wash and wear, but can be made as dressy as you choose with lots of sleeve and length options. The flattering empire bodice can be made with a plunging neckline that shows a bit of décolleté, or it can be made to be a bit more modest, depending on your comfort level.  Use a single fabric for a classic, continuous look, or mix and max for bohemian patchwork fun.

Both of these are downloadable PDF patterns with an impressive range of sizes.  I could make Aria's Easter dress for years to come!  To see all of the beautiful dresses available in the Sis Boom collection, click here.

Ok, I'm ready for the fabric part!  The winner will also receive 3 yards of her choice from Jennifer Paganellis's newest line Honey Child, fully stocked and going fast at Whipstitch Fabrics!

I first came across Honey Child when I glimpsed this heavenly stack at Melanie's blog, A Sewing Journal. And that was all it took - I am now a Jennifer Paganelli fan!

I love the cuts Melanie is working with, but I also like the rest of the Honey Child range.  In fact, I stashed a half yard of that Mikaela in green, since I have nothing even remotely emerald green in my stash.  Mikaela is the geometric print up top in the complete Honey Child swatch set below.  Take a look.

And for a little Honey Child in action, check out this quilt top made with the full range of fabrics.  So vibrant!

Well, I don't know how, but the winner is going to have to choose her favorites. The 3 yard prize would be enough to make one average-sized Meghan dress or the little girl's Marissa dress.   For Aria's dress, we're considering Danielle in Blue, which is actually a blue-purple and seems to be Aria's favorite. I'm worried it might be a little too dark, but maybe with a contrasting cummerbund?  Anyhoo, you can find the complete collection at Whipstitch.  If you like, share your favorite!
