#KingfisherStitchAlong

Where have you been stitching?  By the looks of things, lots of us are taking the hexies along at the beach, at the park, at the pool.   Kingfisher Stitch-Along flowers are blooming the world over!

So fun to see your works in progress!  Plus, all the different ways you approach the project, and the creative organizing solutions - it's definitely inspiring to be part of a community of patchwork-lovers.

Keep posting your photos to Instagram with hashtag #KingfisherStitchAlong so that we can all have a looksee and give you a chance to win our weekly stitch-along prize!  This week some Liberty of London is up for grabs from Ava & Neve.  Ooh-la-la!

Here's my first ring of weekly blossoms.  Do you like to fussy cut?  I haven't done it much before now, but I can understand the allure.  Especially with fabrics that have directional elements like stripes or diamonds, I love to situate the print to create a secondary pattern.  Look out for a post on the Ava & Neve blog this week, with tips for fussy cutting fabrics for English paper piecing.

Wishing you a week of lovely stitches!
