Motherhood + Creativity {an interview}

Hey friends! This week I'm at Fuller by Design for an interview about how I balance motherhood, creativity and business.  I thought you might like the read, particularly if you work to keep the same balls in the air.  And since it's a series, you may want to get cozy and settle in for the others!

Thanks for including me, Susan!

  1. Great interview! Thank you for your thoughts and insight. I admire women with the courage to open their own businesses, in whatever field they choose. Very inspiring, way to go!

  2. I've followed your blog for a long time and am so inspired by the beautiful work you do. I loved reading this interview. I have five children and struggle to make time for creative endeavors, but I really loved what you had to say and your encouragement. Thank you for the inspiration! :)

  3. Rachel, I enjoyed reading your interview. I have been following you for a couple of years and have taken an online class from you (Penny Sampler). One comment you made in the interview really caught my attention. You said, "I am not a college graduate." You see, Rachel, during the Penny Sampler, by reading your instruction and viewing your videos, I had decided that you were a trained teacher with some years of experience in the classroom. I thought you had put aside your teaching career to be a stay-at-home mother and to homeschool your children. Your instruction and course development is so wonderful. I am a retired teacher, slowly moving into creative teaching. I see you as an apt mentor, a light to pay attention to and to learn from. Thank you for your excellent contributions to me and to many others. All the best with you new little one.
