have you heard?

Have you heard that Pink Chalk Fabrics is liquidating ALL their fabrics?  Sad, but true.  They are going to be focusing in the future on pattern design and pattern sales, so there will still be a Pink Chalk, just not the fabric fantastic resource I've come to know and love.

All fabrics are 20% off, prices marked and easy to shop.  I ordered on Friday and my package has already arrived!  I bought some Cotton and Steel basics to round out some missing hues in my stash and also indulged in a few Lotus Pond fabrics that I've been watching.

It's a great opportunity to stock up on things you know you can use like Kona Cotton, nice flannel for backings and helpful fabrics, not to mention tempting to indulge just a bit....  Really, their solids section is HUGE.

If you do, you'll get one of these Pink Chalk Standard Quilt Size cards with your order (while supplies last, of course).  I was just talking about these last week and using mine this week to visualize how my current work-in-progress would fall on a twin bed.  Super handy.

Happy Shopping!

  1. So sad. But exciting for them at the same time !

I FINALLY got myself a Kona Color Card. I don't know why I've waited for so long...

  2. I liked that they always carried a lot of linen, too. Will miss them!

  3. This is a dangerous post. I pared down my giant list to just 13 half yard cuts to fill in some of the gaps in my blenders. :-)

  4. Thanks for the tip - I had no idea!

There isn't much that makes me happier than opening my package and finding that plastic bag with neatly folded fabric showing through. ;)

  5. Oh will that lotus pond fabric be used for a baby girl's quilt? I have a fat quarter bundle of the line stashed away for precisely that reason if I ever need it;)
