on my table

Oh my, what a weekend!  Book club, an afternoon on the river, Angled class launch, a Camp chat and a marathon trip to Ikea... this long weekend was packed with good things that nearly did me in.  Today we're catching up on school and laundry and oh... some sewing!

on my table

Right now, September bee blocks for Love circle are on my table.

Starlight, starbright

These soft, dreamy colors are helping my harried soul to slow down just a bit, and breathe.  I love, love, love the Starbright Stars pattern.  Thank goodness for bee charity quilts - the perfect excuse to indulge in this one again.

for Love Circle, do. Good Stitches

September brings a very welcome return to routine for many of us.  I'm hoping to get back to my sewing machine, which hasn't seen enough action as of late.  My "to sew" list for baby is a mile long.  Really, a mile.

Oh, I've been feeling baby kicks this weekend.  Joy! Joy!

What's on your table?

  1. If I read your blog for nothing else, it would be for seeing what colors you put together. Your choices encourage me to get out of the box!
This week I need to make a quilt sandwich and start quilting. I'll have to corral the dog and cat who want only to walk right on the space on the floor where I'll be laying out the quilt and backing. ;)

    1. Me too! It was the part I've been looking forward to most with being pregnant! I had such easy pregnancies before, but this one is definitely more uncomfortable (still not bad). Anyways, as a nice trade off I get to feel kicks earlier since this is my 3rd pregnancy. Yay!

    2. Sewing mojo does go on holiday sometimes. In those cases, it can be best to let it alone for a bit =) Hope it comes back with a big kick though!

    1. I'm not sure if it has an official name. I created this design (new to me, but definitely could have been done before) spring of last year. This year I've included it in my just-launched Angled class. =)

  10. Baby kicks here, too! Blessed.

And I've been picking out fabrics for my own Starbright. Will this one be monochromatic? I was leaning that way myself but wasn't sure if things would get too muddled.

  11. Oh, where did my comment go? Hate when that happens, I hope it doesn't come twice. Anyhoo, baby kicks and Starbright! What a happy little post :)
