MAKE. handmade. do. Good.
The rich red really adds depth to the quilt. I've not found a red which doesn't run/bleed. Did you prewash this one? I'll be interested to see if it's colourfast.
Yes, I did prewash. Thankfully! I'll still use a color catcher when I wash this quilt. Will definitely share if any bleeding happens.
The red is indeed very pretty.
It's pretty with that red, red, red background.
I just finished a wonky stars table runner for our Christmas gift exchange. I love making stars. That red is a very beautiful shade of red.
just love it!
that red is beautiful!
This is great!! What a nice jobj!
it's stunning with that red & amh! good luck with the color fastness. I'm curious to hear how that goes as I love red so much.
Oh I love this (loved Kelly's too) - such rich jewel tones. Can't wait to see more. I so need to buy some AMH .
The project inspired me to order a few more AMH prints from Sew Love Fabrics. I can't help it - having more variety makes the quilt more interesting and I didn't have many dark prints on hand!
I am not even a red person, but I love it! So striking. Good for you, being so bold and brave!
What beautiful, rich colors!
The colours sure pop on that red! Lovely. Hey, did I miss the do good stitches link up?
No, you didn't miss it. It goes live on the 10th.
Oooooh! This is lovely!
