  4. Oooh! I love the voile quilt. So pretty.

Your post this weekend about Euphoria was sweet and honest. We can all relate to the pain of taking a risk and experiencing disappointment. I am so grateful though that you moved on to quilting because I so enjoy your blog.

    I ordered a pattern. :)

    1. Oh, thanks! I worried very much that it was much too busy and chaotic. It is busy... but I've come to terms with it.

  8. Your churn dash quilt is lovely! How did the muslin work out while sewing with the voile?

    1. The muslin felt quite similar in weight to the voile throughout. It sewed up fine. I think it's a good match!

  9. I love that you varied the sizes of the churn dash block and filled in with scraps. The look isn't as planned that way and it's fantastic! I always have to work really hard to achieve that look since symmetry seems to be the natural way my brain wants to work!

    1. Well, we just put a dripper on them with a timer and then sat back and waited. They are growing like a monster. It's kinda scary.

  14. Sometimes I think you read my mind (or vice versa)! I have been dreaming about a scrappy churn-dash made up of different sized blocks, and here it is! I love the voile, and it's so happy to see how this came together. I totally have a quilt like this on my list, and seeing yours made me want to make one even more!
