itsy bitsy

Just a quickie post today.  It's raining buckets outside and my family is battling a flu.  Ah, good times (wink)!

for a little baby

Still, a little patchwork can bring cheer any day.  This pair is for a sweet baby girl.  And, shhhhhhh, it's a secret!  (No, it's not mine.  If/when, it is, I'll be shouting.  Count on it!).

Heather Ross, Itsy Bitsy Spider

I love this little sawtooth star the mostest.  At just 6" square, it used up lots of my emerald scraps and a remnant piece of Heather Ross' Itsy Bitsy Spider.  Awww....

See you tomorrow!

I love the blocks! I am in total agreement about Sawtooth Star blocks. Although, I am not making any; I am in love with them.

    1. Thanks Nicke. Yeah, I put the word verification back on after the spam stuff starting piling up like crazy. 10+ spam comments per day. Yuck. And Google stopped catching them.

  3. I love scrappy! This is one cute project. I think I'll have to come back and see more. I hope everyone is feeling better tomorrow. Instead of rain, we finally turned to snow - after about 8" of the rain since last Friday!

    1. Oh, lucky you! We're hoping for a sprinkling of snow tonight. I've had a fever since 11 am, so I'm hoping tomorrow I feel like myself.

    1. Nope, no pattern. I just let the size of my scraps be my guide!

  14. are you making HST for the star points?
I love the blocks too, so refreshing.

I sure hope you and yours are on the mend soon. The people I know who've had the flu have been laid up for days. I'm hoping to avoid it this year. I think sewing will help my immune system ;-)

    1. I bet sewing DOES help the immune system. Well, as long as you enjoy it =) Which, of course, you do! Yes, I was making HST (half square triangles) for the star points.

  15. I'm sure ya'll are doing better by now. :) These stars are adorable! What is it about them, I wonder?! We are expecting our own bundle of joy come August (#8!!) and I've been thinking about a little quilty goodness for the new baby. Perhaps this would be a fun one to do. Thanks for the idea!
