Craft Shows Are... so. much. fun.

Yes, it was.  So. much. fun.

belly laughs at Indie Craft Parade

Belly-laughing fun.

Okay, it was a lot of other things as well, but we'll have to get to those tomorrow.  I'm back from Indie Craft Parade.  So many sweet people!  Thanks to everyone who came out.  I was very, very touched!

I sold things.  I didn't sell other things.  So, I listed those other things in my Etsy store today.

Wall art, journal covers, iPad sleeves, quilts, even a set of coasters - there's a limited number of pretty things there.  If you fancy yourself a little Stitched in Color, now's the time.  I'm not planning to keep up a shop.... I'm planning a quilt-along instead.

Here's to more quilts!  (And more quilts (and more quilts)).

Be back tomorrow with the full scoop on my experience! Pinky promise.

  1. Looked at the items in your shop and I favorited some of them. I love love the hand quilted baby quilt. Thanks for sharing. I know I was interested in hearing how the show went. We all want to hear about people making what they love and having success doing it.

  3. Just bought the notebook I fell in love with when you showed it! I'm selfishly glad it didn't sell at the show ;o)

Can't wait to hear all about it!

  4. I'd be interested to hear what sold well and what didn't, and why you think that was eg prices or lack of interest in those items. Glad to hear you had fun though. The market I was going to do has been cancelled so I'm contemplating applying for another more experienced market.

  5. I so enjoyed getting to meet you in person! And I LOVE my picnic quilt and notebook sooo much!!! (FYI I'm the one who took 20 minutes to decide on a notebook- typewriters or patchwork? Happy to say I don't regret my choice:)

  13. Rachel, I'm so glad to hear about your experience. I've considered craft shows, but I'm so intimidated. It's nice to hear a real story about what it's like. Excited for the QAL!
