Retro Flowers no. 1

Retro  Flowers no. 1

When Christina Lane released her Retro Flowers quilt pattern early September I crushed hard.  The wishful desire to make this quilt kind of rustled around in my consciousness until everything got shook out in November... curves class and all.

sooooooo happy with this block!

No, this block is not part of my curves class, being Christina's creation.  But, you will most certainly acquire the skills to enjoy a Retro Flower of your own, if you play along with the drunkard's path block project during week 3 on precision curves.  Oh, and class registrants also get a big discount on Christina's pattern.  Cool!

I'm in love...

I'm in love.  Crazy, giddy, I-can't-believe-I-made-that L.O.V.E.  As in, when can I make another?  and also...  how many more do I get to make?

I hope you don't mind if I show you my next block.  And the next one.  And maybe the one after that too...

  11. Love! This is the perfect fabric for this pattern! Now you have me wanting to go raid the fabric cabinet and make another. I especially love that you feel just how I did, like you want to jump up for joy after finishing a flower. I think it is amazing how simple they really are.
