Remember a few weeks ago when I made a wish? It seems the fabric fairy was listening. No, Joel Dewbery's Heirloom collection didn't arrive mysteriously on my doorstep, but it just may arrive on yours....
My newest sponsor, Brenda of Pink Castle fabrics, put together a 1/2 yard bundle of most of the prints I selected to give away to one of you. So that's like 13 prints = over 6 yards of gorgeous, Heirloom fabric?!?!?
Ok, I'm going to want to see what you make with that! Brenda, that's incredible generous!
I think we should reward this fabric fairy, don't you? To show your appreciation, please click on over to the Pink Castle etsy shop and take a look. I was quite happily surprised to find her homepage full of Folksy Flannel by Anna Maria Horner at $10 a yard. Flannel makes the perfect backing for a baby quilt, so I just may talk myself into picking up pink or soft orange Diamond Mine for the back of my current work-in-progress. I'm also making eyes at her offerings by Cosmo Cricket. Wink.
Enough about me, how about you? To enter this drawing, I'm curious to know what you heart most in the Pre Cuts & Bundles category at Pink Castle. I wonder if you'll have hard time choosing between Anna Maria Horner's pearl cotton sets and tried-and-true fabric, fabric, fabric? Mmmmm, what'll it be?
Careful what you wish for, cause this seems to be a magic space.
P.S. Giveaway ends Saturday, noonish. This post will be updated with a note about the winner, and I'll contact the winner by email. I'm leaning towards updating giveaway posts, rather than creating a new post about the winner, just to keep your reader clear. Let me know if this is a terrible, rotten, bad idea!
P.S.S. Last giveaway's winner was Sabs, and I still haven't heard from her. New winner to be drawn on Saturday, if radio silence continues.
******** Updated August 13th
Comments are closed and number 261 is our winner. That's "QuiltingBren" whom I'm emailing right now. Also, I am glad to say that Sabs got in touch with me so all our giveaway loose ends are tied up. Hurray!

jahelmi@gmail.com
Oh I love both the Heirloom bundles. Just LOVE them! I am such a fan of Joel Dewberry. And I adore the Ruby Jelly Roll too. So much to love there!
ReplyDeleteWhile I do really adore the Heirloom bundles, I think I might have to go with the Curio layer cake. I like the idea of what an easy quilt top that could become and the line is just amazing!
ReplyDeleteThe Ruby line looks lovely.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the opportunity to win a very generous give-away.
I am really loving "Etchings" right now....although would like to try out some "Ruby" too!!

ReplyDeleteThanks for the amazing giveaway!
Oh, just wanted to say I love, follow and read a lot of blogs so find it much easier to keep track if there are seperate giveaway winners posts :)
As you know, I'm dying for the AMH Perle cottons!
ReplyDeleteSo, my favorite over at Pink Castle is the Bonjour 8 Pack Fat Quarter Set Bundle Green Brown Blue Anthology Fabrics. I am sooo drawn to those colors!! Just beautiful!!
ReplyDeleteI love the pearl cottons. I can't decide which color palette I like more. I haven't ever tried quilting but I think those colors may have inspired me to try it.
ReplyDeleteI like the Fairy Tale Friends layer cake, but what I am most likely to buy is a collection of My Folklore fabrics. I have had my eye on them for awhile.
ReplyDeleteThe Moda Hideaway charm pack looks so sweet. I would love to work some quilty creativity with those!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the great giveaway!
WOW. This is such a generous give-away. I am lovin' the Bryant Park collection right now. And the Hideaway fabrics too. Hard to pick just one.
ReplyDeleteBy the way, now that I've calmed down, I'll leave a comment for THIS giveaway... I really like the fresh colours of the Bonjour FQ. And also the Bryant FQ. (And also and also and also...!)
ReplyDeleteI love that Circa 1934 fabric from Cosmo Cricket... that pack would look SOOOOOO good on my fabric shelf!
ReplyDeleteWow! What a wonderful giveaway! I would LOVE the Moda rainbow bundle. I am just in a rainbow mood lately and seem to be irresistibly drawn to it. Thanks for the chance to win!
ReplyDeleteMany great bundles, I think I like the Belle Solids best. Beautiful colors.
ReplyDeleteI'm going to pick the Fairy Tale Friends Layer Cake by American Jane for Moda as my favorite. Thanks for the chance to get a bundle of Dewbery!
ReplyDeleteLove the Heirloom sets and the AMH pearl cottons...have use 'other' pearl cottons for some quilting but those colors are amazing...might have to get some for an upcoming project. Thanks for the chance to win!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful set of fabrics. YOu have a great eye for colors. My fav in the pre-cuts is the Curio Layer Cake Basic Grey for Moda.
ReplyDeleteooh, definitely drawn toward the AMH pearl cottons! I've been wanting to try hand quilting for awhile, and that box of goodness makes it even more appealing. However, I'd gladly settle for a half-yard bundle of some gorgeous Heirloom prints!
ReplyDeleteAside from the Heirloom collection [of which I already have the Citrine colorway and its spectacular] I also really like the Moda Bella solids white layer cake. I've been doing a lot of negative white space in my projects, and that would be very handy to have.
ReplyDeletebeccasmith02@earthlink.net
I love the fairy tale friends fat quarter bundle. I know my 7 year old daughter would squeal if she saw them.
ReplyDeleteWhile the pearl cotton does look delicious, I think that my favorite is the Bryant Park fat quarters. They are beautiful!
ReplyDeleteBEAUTIFUL FABRICS!
ReplyDeleteI'D CHOOSE 'COSMO CRICKETS'!
THANKS FOR SHARING!
jldouglas@wispwest.net
Cape Ann for me. I love me some Oliver & S!
ReplyDeleteI love that hope valley fiesta pack. And if I won this heirloom, I would definitely make a quilt for my mother in law, it suits her home perfectly. Thanks Rachel!
ReplyDeleteI would choose either the Heirloom bundles or the AMH pearl cotton set. Have my eye on both of those :)
ReplyDeleteI love the boxed fat quarter sets. The High society 12 pack one is gorgeous.
ReplyDeletexoxo,
amy
The AMH threads are very temptingly beautiful, but I don't do a lot of embroidery (yet have cases full of thread), so probably I'd go with fabric as a favourite. And looking at what's there, it's a bit funny but my favourite thing, I think, is all the Curio precuts. I haven't seen anymore of the line than the one fabric on the outside of all the precuts, but I really like that one fabric. (And it's not even terribly in line with what I'd normally like.) I guess I really should look at that line a bit further and see if the rest of it speaks to me too.
ReplyDelete(On the note about giveaway posts... I'd suggest going on making new ones. I don't typically remember to go back to old posts to check on things like that. I often leave myself post-it notes as a reminder to go back when there are things I'm interested in taking a closer or second look at, but I don't very often actually take my post-it advice.)
Definitely the Hope Valley Entire Line 24 Pack. I really regret not getting those fabrics when they were out and they are so, so lovely.
ReplyDeletejennhgray at gmail dot com
Hope Valley Fiesta 8 pk. I have the rest of the line already. What about that embroidery thread. Very pretty.
ReplyDeleteWow - hard to choose. The colors in the embroidery and thread sets are just so beautiful - I think I would have to go with that.
ReplyDeleteFor sure I love the Heirloom in the Sapphire colorway. Such gorgeous designs and color combinations.
ReplyDeleteI've been resisting the temptation of heirloom since I first saw it! I also really like the Ruby jelly roll... that line looks great also!
ReplyDeleteThat was H.A.R.D.
ReplyDeleteThe fabric I'm dreaming of was not in a pre-cut bundle...... (Heirloom in Citrine)
The Fairy Tale friends looks fun and interesting. I could make a baby something for my sister who has been married a year - surely she'll need baby things soon, right...
Of course, the think that most captured me was the Bella Solids White Layer Cake. B.O.R.I.N.G. but oh so practical.
That fabric is gorgeous! I just love it.
ReplyDeleteMary
iammaryburke@gmail.com
Ooh, I would LOVE to get my hands on that Little Apples jelly roll!
ReplyDeleteHeirloom, either Sapphire or Ruby colorway are so beautiful!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful threads Brenda! I think updating posts for a giveaway is fine, as long as you e-mail the winner. If I'm blogging about a giveaway, I usually mention the winner in the next post of substance so I don't have to create a whole new post just for the winner.
ReplyDeleteThe Bryant Park FQ set was mighty fine looking. I'm thinking about some pillow action right now with it.
ReplyDeleteLinda
I am a lover of orange (and turquoise!), so the Ocean Sunset is calling to me. Love the Ruby jelly roll, too!
ReplyDeleteoh man, the Ocean Sunset pre-cut stack is just gorgeous! i'm inlove with the metro dots, yummy!
ReplyDeletethanks so much!
Oh, definitely the AMH perle threads!
ReplyDeleteknspears (at) gmail (dot) com
I may have to go back to the shop and buy the Hope Valley FQ bundle...
ReplyDeletereally nice giveaway, thanks!!
Would definitely choose the heirloom bundle. I've been drooling over this for a while but don't know if it's available in the UK.
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness this line and AMH's perle cottons are super high on my want lists!!! How can you resist the colors of both?!
ReplyDeleteNot to be a total suck-up, but the Heirloom really would be my first pick. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteYum Yum Sushi and Little Apples!!
ReplyDeleteI'd go nuts for the Heirloom bundle!! I also like the Ocean Sunset - Orange and Turquoise Blue 6 FQ Fat Quarter Bundle and the Ruby Jelly roll too :) So many wonderful fabrics :)!!
ReplyDeleteThat Hope Valley bundle is calling my name! I wasn't crazy about that line when it first came out, but there's something about the way she has it all laid out that makes me feel like I have to have it!
ReplyDeleteOh, those solids are fantastic! You can never have too many solids! :) Thank you for a great giveaway!
ReplyDeleteI love fabric fairy:)
ReplyDeleteI'm not a big fan of earth colors, but Forest Floor speaks to me - great selection of prints!

ReplyDeleteOh, I just LOVE this set of fabric and I have been wanting to get my hands on some since you first posted it. As for other bundles I love, I have to stick with Anna Maria Horner. She is my obsession!
ReplyDeleteBriana.m.murphy@gmail.com
I love the Ocean sunset orange and blues and the Bella rainbow bundles. Thanks for the give away.
ReplyDeleteSince I just stashed AMH flannels for my autumn project/winter charm quilt, I think some Bella solid bundles are needed now.
ReplyDeleteI am all about the new AMH pearl cottons. I WANT!!!
ReplyDeleteWhat an amazing giveaway - thank you so much and of course Pink Castle! I am rather taken by the Bryant Park Gray Teal Mustard Anthology Fabrics - they are seriously gorgeous!

ReplyDeleteWhat a generous giveaway :o)
ReplyDeleteMy eye was immediately drawn to the Ocean Sunset bundle, love the blues and oranges together
Ooo... So pretty. And I have to pick only one?? If I had to pick only one I think I really like the Curio by Basic Grey for Moda Jelly Roll. Love the fabrics!
ReplyDeleteI've been wanting to try my hand at hand quilting, so I thought that I'd want the perle cotton hands down. BUT, after visiting her shop, I am totally charmed by the high Traffic fat quarter bundle. akmajor (at) gmail (dot) com
ReplyDeleteHeirloom is so gorgeous. I think I like the Hope Valley set best, though the AMH pearl cottons are truly tempting!
ReplyDeleteI have the hardest time not buying prints, so I really need help coordinating solids to round out some projects especially quilts. I find it incredibly helpful when someone shares which solids match a fabric collection since I do much of my fabric shopping online. I really love this new collection, btw!
ReplyDeleteHigh Traffic Red and Yellow for me. I'm so in love with those heath prints right now.
ReplyDeleteThe Heirloom is fabulous! I'm also loving the Garden Glow Turquoise/Pink/Lime pack! Thanks for the chance to win!
ReplyDeletearbendlin@gmail.com
What's NOT to love about the Heirloom Ruby Colorway??? I love the richness of those hues! Oh the possibilities...
ReplyDeleteIt's a tie between heirloom and hope valley. Both are so pretty!
ReplyDeleteWithout a second's hesitation I would pick the rainbow bundle of bella solids.
ReplyDeletethey're all so gorgeous! love the heirloom and I'm really drawn to the woodland picnic bundle.
ReplyDeleteThe pearl cotton, definitely. I exclusively hand quilt (because my sewing machine is not built for quilting!) and I've been wanting to try some of that ever since I've seen you use it. The AMH colors are really beautiful.
ReplyDeleteThey're all lovely, but I think my favorite is the Little Apples jelly roll!
ReplyDeleteOh how I love Joel Dewberry fabric! That would definitely be my favorite thing in her pre-cuts section. The High Traffic Red Yellow and Green bundle also caught my eye.
ReplyDeleteI've been wanting some of the Heirloom fabric every since it came out, I might just have to wander over to the Pink Castle and order myself some! thanks
ReplyDeleteI love the Curio charm pack from Basic Grey!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the great giveaway :)
Oh such goodies to choose from...First Spring Morning, Lemon Blueberry, Ocean Sunset.. and the cross weaves bundle. I want them all.
ReplyDeleteDefinitely been itching for the complete hope valley set. In fact, it's been sitting in my cart since yesterday..... debating.....
ReplyDeleteOooOOoh! They are all just so beautiful, but the Lemon Blueberry just sings to me. Then again, the entire Hope Valley line will always have a home in my collection. Thanks for the giveaway!!

ReplyDeleteLove the rainbows on the first page but my favourite is the Hideaway charm pack on the second page - lovely colours and cute design. Now I wonder whether she ships to Australia...

And the half yard rainbow Bella Solids bundle is heavenly ^_^ I've also been intrigued with the AMH embroidery threads since you first posted about them, but still can't decide which is my favourite colourway ;p Lastly, omgeez I heart Dewberry :D Chrysanthemum, paisleys and florals, oh my!
ReplyDeleteOoh how sweet is the Hope Valley? That's my pick! Crossing my fingers now ;)
ReplyDeleteBrenda is the best! I love Pink Castle. My favorite is the Etchings line. Much more traditional than my usual choices, but I love the writing and blueprint fabrics and the colors.
ReplyDeleteI can't believe you expect me to choose just one thing. So I'm not going to. I'm always a sucker for pre-cuts and the Circa 1934 layer cake caught my eye. I would also love to have any of the Anthology FQ bundles. They're so bright and cheery. The Heirloom bundles are also shiny. =)
ReplyDeleteI am personally digging the etchings and circa 1934... so fun!
ReplyDeleteI have 2 favorites from the pre-cuts and bundles! I love both of the Bryant Park fat quarter sets, though I think the warm colors are my very favorite!

ReplyDeleteand... i don't mind either way whether you post a new post for the winner or just update the giveaway post. But I do think it's important to close entries after the end time, and very important to email the winner - not everyone can check the blog everyday!
One of these days, I'll win something! I love the new Dewberry collections, of course, but all of Pink Castle's fabric stacks look gorgeous! Plus, she's from MI! :)
ReplyDeleteI love the Anthology Fabrics...awesome colors.
