Guess whaaaaat? I have two prizes to giveaway for those of you playing along with Bottled Rainbows! You see, the cool peeps at Robert Kaufman saw what we're doing here and wanted to giveaway a complete set of Kona fat quarters in the Bottled Rainbow palette. I know, isn't that so nice!
One lucky winner will receive the following Kona cuts: Ruby, Pomegranate, Candy Pink, Violet, Berry, Cerise, Tangerine, School Bus, Buttercup, Avacado, Everglade, Marine, Pacific, Peacock, Grass Green and Chartreuse.

And, I thought, if we're giving away Kona I might as well giveaway some scraps too, right? So, one additional winner will receive my extra scraps. If that sounds like a weird giveaway to you, blame it on the folks that have mentioned they'd love to win scraps, K? Joke.

But, really, as you can see I definitely have extra scraps in Ruby, Pumpkin, Teal and Turquoise. I may have more as well, because I honestly haven't gotten around to sorting away the extras....

except for these in Pumpkin that were leftover after I made my first Bottled Rainbow block. But I will sort out all my extras before shipping the winner's prize!
Now, I've heard from quite a few of you that you're really waiting to do anything until you receive your Kona solids in the mail. So, with that in mind, and because this is a leisurely quilt-along (I promised!) I'm not going to give you the full how-to post this week. Please don't be mad! I am planning on posting all about ticker tape this week, which will show you some options and address your questions about finishing. So, I hope that will feed your rainbow cravings ;). Oh, and if you want to look-see, there are all sorts of fun blocks popping up at our Flickr pool, along with scrap-sorting ideas. So fun!
Giveaway details: To enter to win the Kona bundle or the Bottled Rainbow scraps, please leave your comment here. I'll close comments and draw the winners on Monday the 7th, after noon EST. If you follow Stitched in Color via Google Friend Connect (that's the grid of little people icons in my sidebar if you scroll up), you may make another entry by placing a second comment! If you're a new follower, just click the "Follow" button to qualify for a second entry. Thanks friends, and good luck!
p.s. If you are a "no reply" commenter, you must leave your email address in your comment so that I can contact you if you win!
Do we need to be Quilting Along currently? Or can just wishing we were count. :)

I would love to win either the FQ bundle or the scraps as then I could definitely join in (I'm discovering there are some large colour gaps in my stash/scrap box and my budget is so small it's almost invisible!).
