I perused Fresh Squeezed Fabrics (and not for the first time) this morning to see what's filling Randi's shelves. Denyse Schmidt's new collection Greenville Hill, Dream On, Innocent Crush & Parisville were familiar faces. But, I also came across some new-to-me finds. Here are a few:
I've never seen this line by Kokka before. "Carnival" comes in several fun colorways, as does "Through the Looking Glass." Randi's description of each print includes links to "see the other fabrics in this collection" - always helpful and rarely accessible in Etsy stores.
Tailor Made by Cosmo Cricket includes these fun measuring tapes. I've seen them made up in cool projects on Flickr. Randi makes lots of fabric bundles for every collection, with different mix-ups of fabrics so that you can find your true love set. This is my favorite set from Tailor Made.
I found two shades of Henna Garden (from Meadowsweet) that I haven't stashed. This is brown and persimmon. I could use this print in every color - it mixes well with so many types of projects.
And also these playful kitchen prints from Metro Cafe and Suburbia. I'm tempted to add them to my stash for the projects I'll be making in the upcoming Spicing Up the Kitchen swap (there's still time to enter if you're quick!).
There's just so much fabric goodness to be had, isn't there?
A big thank-you to Fresh Squeezed Fabrics. We look forward to seeing what yummy fabric prize you'll cook up for the February edition of Blogger's Pillow Party!

Great picks, Rachel! I saw the carnival print while on a (Christmas money)buying spree last week and almost got, but now I wish I had. It's definitely on my "get" list! Very cute.

I love Randi and ordering from her...I have followed her blog for years and she is the one that really made me realize that sewing was doable with her dishtowel apron and tote tutorials!!
ReplyDeleteI was just looking at her shop yesterday, and that Kokka line was one of the choices I was considering. Great stuff!
ReplyDeleteps- your deeply colored new heading is gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteI just love Kokka fabrics and that Big Wheel is fab.
ReplyDeleteI've linked my pillow for your pillow party, but where I've posted your button at the top, it's just gobblydegook, I've never been able to make buttons work on my blog! I have included a link to your blog though...
I would love to play does it have to be a pillow you made for yourself? I just finidhed one earlier this month but it was for a swap does that count?
ReplyDeleteThanks
Yes, you can use one you made for someone else, as you would in a swap. So long as YOU made it!
